- June-July 2015: Madagascar; conducting research near Toamasina on role of lemurs in reforestation
- August 2015 - April or May 2016: South Africa to continue research project: Elephants, Bees, and Chillies: seeking alternative deterrent strategies/management approaches for African Elephants
- Fall 2016: hoping to start a PhD program in Ecology/Conservation
